Italian Espresso Martini
Ingredients
200ml sugar syrup
1 whole orange
4 cinnamon sticks
6 to 7 cloves
6 cardamom seeds
30ml Tequila
10ml Bailey’s Irish cream
10ml Frangelico Hazelnut Liquor
20ml Espresso
For garnish: 3 coffee beans
Method
1. Make a herb sugar syrup: Simmer the syrup for 45 minutes with the orange, cinammon, cloves and cardamon seeds
2. Measure out 5ml of syrup and add it, together with all the ingredients except the coffee beans, into a shaker with ice and shake hard. Strin into a martini glass
3. Garnish with coffee beans
